BIO

Spent much of my twenties in front of a camera, years later, I'm working behind one.

Actually, I've been called a Renaissance Woman more times than I can count. I've waitressed, home cared the elderly, modeled, danced, schooled for years in holistic healing and detoxification earning a license in naturopathy, and I'm a published author of books and screenplays. Throughout every reinvention these things proved to be hardwired: Animal advocacy, holistic principles, writing, and hobby photography.

In 2012 I was diagnosed with a life changing health issue, and for various reasons writing novels became more challenging. Productivity wasn't meeting my self-set standards, which ultimately caused depression.

During my creative lull, on my birthday, my husband suggested I get back to something I really loved - photography.

As he predicted, the pictures and the process uplifted my spirits, but that was just the beginning. Sharing my photographs quickly opened doors to great opportunities.

"And then the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." - Anais Nin

2019 presented another health challenge, which caused severe fatigue, among other symptoms. Photography was put on hold while I dealt with what turned out to be Stage 3 cancer. Following surgery and seven months of chemotherapy, I'm currently cancer free.

Fast forward and today my intention is to make available unique perspectives of our exquisite natural world. Nature is my calming place. It brings me great joy to offer pieces of our serene environment for all to afford and enjoy.

Thank you for visiting.
